Terms of Service.

1sh.app is operated by an individual, not a company. These terms exist so a free tool can stay free. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. What this is

1sh.app is a free hosted tool that turns text prompts into single-file HTML apps using AI model API keys that you supply, and can host the results at a public URL. It comes with no uptime, support, or data-durability commitments. The service may change, limit, or shut down at any time, with or without notice.

2. Your account

  • Provide an email you control and keep your credentials safe. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live).
  • One person per account. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

3. Your API keys

  • You supply your own API keys (OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI). By saving a key you authorize us to send your prompts to that provider using your key when you request a generation — and for nothing else.
  • All charges a provider bills against your key are yours alone. Generations can be expensive; set spending limits with your provider.
  • Keys are encrypted at rest, but you accept the inherent risk of storing a key with any third-party service. You can remove your keys at any time in Settings.

4. Your content

  • You own your prompts and the apps you generate, to the extent the law recognizes ownership in them.
  • You grant us a non-exclusive license to store your apps and to serve the ones you publish, solely to operate the service.
  • You are solely responsible for what you build, publish, and share. Published apps are your speech, not ours, and we do not review them before they go live.
  • Generated code is machine output: review it before relying on it. It may be wrong, insecure, or unfit for any purpose.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use 1sh.app to create, host, or distribute:

  • content that is illegal where you or we operate;
  • malware, phishing pages, credential-harvesting forms, or anything designed to deceive;
  • sexual content involving minors (reported to authorities without exception);
  • harassment or incitement of violence against any person or group;
  • content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or privacy;
  • impersonation of a person or organization, or spam;
  • attempts to escape the app sandbox, access other users’ data, or disrupt the service.

We may unpublish or delete content and suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion, with or without notice, including for conduct not listed here that we reasonably consider abusive.

6. Reports and takedowns

Anyone can report content at /report. Rights holders may request removal of infringing material the same way — include the URL, a description of the protected work, and enough detail to evaluate the claim. We respond to legitimate reports by removing or disabling access to the material.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, OR THAT GENERATED CODE IS SAFE, ACCURATE, OR CORRECT. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, PROVIDER API CHARGES, OR THE CONTENT OF ANY USER-PUBLISHED APP. THE OPERATOR’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THIS FREE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED TEN U.S. DOLLARS (USD $10).

9. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold the operator harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms.

10. Third-party services

Model providers (OpenRouter, Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI) and Google sign-in are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
